Client
I like to see a fellow addict work the program and turn there life around. Anonymity is important, but is it more important then other people's lives? People relapse, recovery's a process. At least make amends to the clients you worked with in those relapses. Admitting what you done to the recovery community is a good step. I looked up to her, it gave me hope to turn my life around. To see someone go from meth addiction and getting kid there kid taken by CPS to a lawyer. But it's not ok that people been hurt during the last couple years by her addiction and relapses and they don't have to disclose what they did. There's no review of the cases during her relapses. But all us in the recovery community have to hear her take inventory and keep her dirty secrets. It don't mean much if theirs no amends to the people she hurt. I wish you luck, I want to see people in recovery get their life back. There should be rules for lawyers to disclose relapses or have at least some clean time under your belt, a month or 2. Just be careful.
