Duncan M. James has been a resident of Mendocino County since 1967 when he began working in the Mendocino County District Attorney's Office. Mr. James became the Mendocino County District Attorney in 1969 and held that office through 1978. Since entering into private practice in 1979 with the opening of his Ukiah law office, the emphasis of Mr. James' practice has been focused on litigation, primarily in the fields relating to business, real estate law, construction law, personal injury, water rights, insurance bad faith, criminal, probate and family law.
