At Maben Autobody they do same day service. I went in to get my car fixed from an accident in April 2025. It was a simple fix of my driver side mirror. They said give them an hour, but it was fixed in 15 minutes or less by Steven. The staff is so kind. Daniel is the owner and he told me exactly how much I'm going to pay. And nothing changed in May when I received the money from my insurance. They have great costumer service and integrity. They take electronic payments, which is a plus. In addition, they are very clean and professional. I give the whole team an A+ for customer satisfaction. Thank you for making my car brand new again!

If I could leave a negative star review, I absolutely would. If you plan to see your car again, or see it within a reasonable amount of time, please avoid this place. They will do everything to try to blame your insurance company for dragging out the process, and will jump very quickly into trying to convince you to move forward with an RTA. I originally brought my Subaru here upon recommendation from the dealership that I bought it from. I was in in incredibly mild hit and run accident (which already sucks), where a car barely grazed me. It appeared to be a mild, superficial damage at the bumper (see photo). Danny is great at reeling you in, saying the repair would only take a couple days, and gave an initial, reasonable estimate of $2,573.71 on 9/9/25. While he did warn me that they may find additional damage upon opening it up, he said a lot to assure me that it would still be a fairly quick, easy process. After opening up the car further, they did find additional damage. The estimate then jumped to $12, 178.91 on 9/23/25. It took our insurance a couple of days to go out there, so that is why there was a slight delay. At that point in time, we were prepared to go forward with the repairs as outlined, and because they could not come to an agreement on price with our insurance, we were prepared to enter the RTA process. When the RTA documents were sent over for us to sign, they sent over a brand new estimate, for reasons unknown to us, that was $19,195.14 on 10/1/25. When our insurance went back out there to review this new found damage, they gave him a different estimate in person of $17,000. Because they chose to not disclose all repairs needed to the vehicle when our insurance was out the first time, this further delayed the process. By this point we were dealing with a man named Eddie, who was particularly degrading and pressuring via text message, email, and phone call. Whenever we asked questions, he would do his best to act like the shop was purely "looking out for our best interests". He did not understand why we wouldn't trust them with our vehicle, and tried to pressure us into the repair. Through insurance, my car would have been totalled at a $16,000 repair. If you look at the photo, and even if you know nothing about cars, you can tell that it is not a $16,000 repair, even with certified parts. He tried to explain that they inflate their estimates and then settle on a number below the total amount- also not a good sign of an honest, straightforward business. At this point I contacted a lawyer to discuss what was going on, shared all documents, photos and videos of the accident and damage. I asked him if it was normal, and if I should go ahead and sign the documents. The lawyer said that all shops in Los Angeles are crooked and egregious and do whatever they can to inflate their own estimates- but this was by far the worst case he had seen. He advised that he would not go anywhere near this place if I wanted to feel safe in my vehicle again. Our insurance was incredibly understanding through out this entire process, and informed us of all of our options. This is not a case of Insurance vs. Shop- the shop was clearly in the wrong here, and trying to take advantage of an unfortunate situation. There are many other Certified Subaru shops in the area- do yourself a favor and take your car any where else. I notified the dealership of the situation so that they stop recommending this shop and prevent this from happening to any more of their consumers. This place also used to be called Carstar and had a rebrand- check out their 1 star reviews before you go here. I wish I had.
