I'm thrilled to share my experience with Rafael and his law firm. Facing an overwhelming situation with a complicated apartment lease, I felt stuck and powerless. My son had to abruptly leave college due to a medical emergency, and we were saddled with a lease agreement that demanded a full year's rent despite the circumstances. The leasing company was not willing to budge and even sent the account to a collections agency.
During this stressful time, Rafael voluntarily stepped in to help, unprompted and without expecting anything in return. He meticulously reviewed our lease and the related correspondence, offering invaluable advice that allowed us to negotiate a more reasonable settlement with the apartment complex.
His keen understanding of tenant law and compassionate approach was a lifeline when we needed it most. Rafael's advice empowered us to better understand our options and rights. Had I decided to take legal action, there's no question that I would have enlisted Rafael's services. His knowledge, empathy, and willingness to go the extra mile truly set him apart as a legal expert.
I wholeheartedly recommend Rafael and his law firm. In a world full of complexities and challenges, it's reassuring to know there are professionals like him who are genuinely committed to helping people navigate tough situations. Thank you, Rafael, for being one of the good ones out there.

After 2 years they finally called me because they reached a settlement and I was so happy that I was finally over. I went to sign the papers and Sean told me that the insurance company would pay for all my bills and the check would come in 3 wks. I even got a paper from the insurance company saying that they mailed the check to his office. Jan comes and I still haven't received anything...they gave me an appt for Feb and mr Carrillo tells me that the insurance didn't want to pay because of some issue and says that he might have to open the case. I call several times after that and they give me some "they're still negotiating" story. It's been 8 months since we reached a settlement and I'm sure he kept all of the money for himself. I went to this law firm because it was recommended to me but that lawyer is a fraud!

I would give him Zero star, I can. First met, he is caring and seem to be so nice to help you win the case. We won the case for a car accident, but once he had received the settlement check since Feb 2024. You will never ever hear or reach ahold of him again. He denied and ignored to contact you. I had tried to contact him numerous times, both calling his office and text him. No response! As of today, May 31st, 2024, I had never received my portion of the settlement. He is an untrustworthy lawyer who took your money and won't pay you as you had been told from the beginning.

I really wish I had more positive things to say about Carillo Law. This has nothing to do with their abilities as a law firm, however, the organization and customer service needs a bit of work.
I scheduled my appointment for a consultation over a month ago. I had the date and time written down and made plans to be available for my telephone appointment. My appointment was at 10:30am, at 10:10am I got a call asking to reschedule my appointment for the following day at 1pm. Works for me, so I rescheduled.
Today I was supposed to have an appointment at 1pm, telephone as well. I had someone call me this morning to confirm and they informed me that my appointment was scheduled as a in-person appointment instead of telephone. When I mentioned this to the receptionist she mentioned that in-person appointments had priority and that if someone had time to speak to me, that they would call. Why do I have an appointment if no one is available then?
I feel I wasted my time in moving my schedule around to accommodate this office, not to mention waiting a month for an appointment only to get absolutely nowhere. I could've looked elsewhere for a lawyer. Very disappointing.
Please value people's time, you charge for yours, ours is not disposable as yours isn't either.
Thank you
