Our experience has been quite the ride. My husband was laid off/ terminated due to a work injury approx. a year and a half ago. We heard good things about Campos law group and decided to give them a call. At first everything was good. Minimal communication, but that was expected as we know it's a long process. However, we are in the final stretch, and the communication has only gotten worse. In the beginning we were being assisted by a paralegal named Ashley/ Ashlynn?, something along those lines. We had direct contact with her and she would always get back in a timely manner. But now, the person who has taken over his case is named Brenda. She's nice and professional (when he can get her on the phone), but never has any answers. it feels like she's just stringing him along. Its always, "I will call you back", "let me check with the lawyer", "I don't have that info at the moment"... BUT, getting ahold of her is INSANELY HARD!!! She's never in the office or always on another call. I know they don't have the same urgency as we do to resolve this case. But they should have the clients well-being as their priority. My husband was told not to work while his case was active, his disability benefits have finished, and they say that he isn't eligible for workers comp. He hasn't had any income in a couple months. Yet there is no resolution in sight. Or at least not that we know of because we haven't been able to get ahold of someone who can give him info on his case. We have considered driving over there, but we are quite a distance away. Everything has been done via phone and email. I don't want to take a day, and it be wasted because they aren't in the office that day. They really need to work on their communication skills, and actually getting back to people when they say. Otherwise don't commit to call backs or to having information by certain dates. Its really frustrating that as a professional business (especially a law firm) they do not keep their word.
