Mr. Bloomfield seems to take a transactional view of lawyering with an eye toward maximizing authority and fees. A friend recommended him for a case to help handle a divorce and sale of a property. Mr. Bloomfield cut off my ability to contact either party by telling them I was exploiting the sale by charging a mortgage prepayment penalty. I had purchased the Mortgage that was about to have a tax foreclosure on it which would Prohibit my clients from earning any profit from a sale. mr Bloomfield never looked at the Mortgage contract. The penalty was paid when the Mortgage was purchased by me which I was deemed to get returned upon sale. Further, Mr. Bloomfield tried to obstruct the purchasing process in too many ways to record here. My guess is Mr. Bloomfield began worrying about his fee and the proceeds of the sale compensation for him. I think he got 25%. Sabotaging my communication with clients and the bullying process was all a out keeping a high fee. I wrote to him about lack if professionalism by besmirching my work without knowing the facts. My trust is lost and this is a precaution statement.
