Attorney Joe Bravo easily won my case against a large formidable insurance litigation team. I found him aggressive and tough. During my initial consultation he sized up my case within 2 minutes by asking me pin point questions. His knowledge, experience, and having practiced in San Francisco for decades can't be over emphasized. I highly recommend Mr. Bravo and can't thank him enough, he was a true blessing to me.

I recently received a call from an attorney referred to me by the attorney referral service provided by the legal bar services. Unfortunately, my experience was not positive. He was very rude, frequently interrupted me, and tried to put his own words into my statement, which was incorrect. He even cut me off while I was speaking because he wanted to use his own words. He was also asking for details in a manner that made the interaction very frustrating. I suggest anyone considering working with him to reconsider and look for someone else. While he may be knowledgeable, his lack of professionalism and poor client communication skills are significant drawbacks."

During a recent phone call with this attorney, I felt very disrespected. He repeatedly cut me off, questioned my intelligence, and asked about my educational background. Even when I was trying to explain my situation truthfully, he pushed me to repeat his words, which felt manipulative and unprofessional. I insist and suggest to everyone considering dealing with him in the future to be cautious and truthful. I do not recommend or endorse anyone to use this service or office."

I was going to write a short and sweet review until I read the negative ones. If you need a "GOOD Litigator," you have just found your guy! Please take the negative reviews based off a consultation with a grain of salt...very petty if you ask me. I had the pleasure of working with Joe for just about two years to the day. When no one else would even answer my call or call me back during the Christmas holiday season, Joe did! I was informed by another attorney that for my specific case, I needed to find someone who specializes in "Litigation." Believe it or not, not every lawyer is good at that. From my first phone call experience with Joe, what some people may think as rude, I do not. After having already talked to multiple lawyers he was the only one that didn't just let me go on and on about things. He interjected, he wanted clarification, "who" etc. from what I gathered from other attorneys, they would basically waste my time by allowing me to finish my story to then tell me they can't help me to find someone who specializes in trial cases etc. ...After talking to Joe the very first time, I quickly realized he wasn't like anyone else I talked to. I knew I found my guy because his questioning made me feel like I was already on trial and I wasn't making sense or being precisely clear, so he had to interject. If I found myself getting frustrated at times during the two year ordeal. Some people are quick to think other people are the problem and look for someone to blame. Joe is just doing his job and he doesn't need petty clients that want him to stop doing what he does best. For me, I figured I was the problem, not him. I needed to get better at communicating..communicating what is needed for the court of law. Think of Joe "jumping in" or "interrupting," as practice for trial. For me that was the daunting possibility. Joe helped me feel supported 100% and that he ALWAYS had my best interest at heart. Joe will answer your call no matter what time of day or night it is. Only the BEST lawyers do that. Joe is a master of his craft. Yes, he has a team to help in your case, and he is reserved for you when it's time to litigate and negotiate and represent you. Joe was able to get my case settled without having to go to trial. Why 2 years? Well, I have learned that in really Big cases the legal system just takes, "due time and process." It's just the nature of the beast so buckle up. Joe is a strong personality, and if you're facing possible trial, that's exactly what you need. Joe represented me and I am about 2 hours away from him. We did video depositions and everything. At first I thought, well, I would rather have him in the room with me, but then I realized if he made the trip that would exhaust my funds faster. So eventhough I felt nervous about being alone in a deposition, he and his team assured me I had nothing to worry about. ..and I quickly realized I didn't. Exactly how one may view Joe "interrupting" in a consultation, is very similar to how he will interject during a deposition. He's just trying to get the story straight and he's doing what he is trained to do so that your case can be represented in the best way. And if you're all over the place and not precise, he will push you to answer questions to get the case precise. Trust the process. Trust that, "interrupting," as some are stating in their reviews, is a good thing! That's a green flag for a "good trial lawyer." No one wants to go to trial but you may have to. You NEED someone that is "chomping at the bit" ready and able to fight on your behalf. In my opinion, Joe is an EXCELLENT DEFENSE Lawyer and is more than able to defend you. He is intense, but if you want your best chance at winning you need intense. Get your documents all organized and together, don't wait for him to ask you. You need to represent you, to Joe. Joe will represent elsewhere. So try to be the best client. Get organized, get your timeline going and on paper, Pay the retainer, and stay on top of everything because you will not be Joes only client. Stay positive & seek God.

Today, I had a free consultation regarding a potential medical malpractice case, but the consultant was unhelpful and didn't seem to listen to me. He rudely interrupted me and confidently claimed that my illness couldn't have been caused by an EMG test, despite not being a doctor himself. I was extremely frustrated with his attitude and decided to end the call, letting him know I no longer needed his assistance. Even after all that, the consultant still asked if he was helpful, despite talking over me the whole time and questioning me like an investigator instead of offering support. Oh, plus, I was told to pre-pay a $3,000 fee for medical doctor hire.
