Among many others who have gone through Worker's Comp for the first time, in particular, I was given no other choice in the end but to contact an Attorney. I knew going into Worker's Comp, it would be a nightmare. However, the way I had been treated and was given false hope, I felt was unnecessary. The first doctor I met in the beginning was not very helpful and then the second doctor convinced me they truly would help until one day, out of nowhere, his demeanor changed to he couldn't help me and would need to deal with the pain. Meanwhile, I could not return to work and because it was my first time going through Worker's Comp, I thought it was hopeless. Thinking I had no other choice, I tried returning to work but even my Manager told me I could not do the tasks my job required from me. I could not get disability, my pain was getting worse and spreading. I felt trapped and was worried I would lose my job. Then as I searched for stories of other victims that had gone through Worker's Comp, I found hope. They all suggested I seek out for an Attorney. I did and fell upon a review that someone had gone through something similar and recommended this Law firm and their Attorney, Christian Chambers, in particular. Therefore, I took a chance. The moment I spoke with Mr. Chambers I knew from his demeanor over the phone and the empathy through his voice that I had a chance of being taken care of. Now again, I had never gone through this process in needing an Attorney before and was not sure how things worked. The moment he took me on, was amazing. He made sure to explain things and clarify certain terms I did not understand about so that I knew what he was doing. He even recommended me towards the right people along the way. I understood that he was busy and juggling multiple cases alongside mine at the same time, but he still was attentive and kept in communication with me at all times through mainly email - no later than the next day or day after. His assistant as well was always helpful and polite. Not that I wish this, but if I do ever get hurt on another job again or my friends/family ever got hurt on the job, he is the one I would highly recommend. I was hurt in 2021, so because of COVID, we never had the chance to meet face to face, but again, always kept in contact. We settled recently and I felt he went above and beyond, truly and genuinely cares about helping people out.
