The Joslyn Center

Excellent Senior Center with activities throughout the week and live performances on Sunday. Bridge, lawn bowling, socializing, water aerobics, balance exercises are just some of the many activities at this center. They offer bridge lessons. They also have a salon for no charge(gratuity only). The place is dog-friendly. This is a great place to meet and socialize with the senior crowd.

This is one my favorite places! I am learning how to quilt the ladies in my group are fabulous!!! Stephanie, Jer, Leslie, Holly are just a few that are always there to help me with my projects! Thank you Josselyn Center for having such wonderful activities and programs for the seniors. I certainly can not forget my Jewelry Class, my teacher Tahira, she amazing so patient and kind. She is for sure one in a million!! Thank you for being such an amazing human being!!

They have a food bank on Friday 8 am and covid 19 and flu shots for free

Not sure about what else goes on here, but I've seen many a charming little play/musical/solo performance and this little venue over the years.

Membership is 50 plus, but very few in their 50s, most are 70s. Schedules are very inconsistent, website verses handout. I have driven 10 minutes a few times to find out that the class is not scheduled and the front desk folks don't care when you tell them about the time discrepancies. If you join, make sure you call ahead to confirm the date/time of classes. Fitness classes are designed for inactive or very elderly folks.
