In coordination with Brent Miller at the Homeowner Protection Alliance, I worked with Lisa Taylor from Roosevelt. Lisa was friendly, upbeat, and easy to talk to...not like many law firms that are formal and stiff. She walked me through the details of what would happen, and when it came time to talk with the lender to verify details, she was there to support. She stayed in touch to let me know what was going on along the way, and celebrated with me when our loan was approved with modifications. Lisa was instrumental in saving our home from foreclosure. I am a homeowner from Maine and found Roosevelt Law Center from a friend. I was behind on my mortgage and was facing foreclosure. I LOVE my house, and I didn't want to lose it! I started the process with them at the end of April 2025, and they were able to get me back to making my mortgage payments in August 2025, deferring what I missed and making the new payment amount more manageable for me. I am so thankful for them! Lynette Tyree kept me so informed, either letting me know as things came up, when I would need to send in new supporting information, or just that things were moving along smoothly. There may have been a time or two that Lynette talked me off the ledge because I was scared and nervous when realtors were contacting me because during the process- you are still technically in foreclosure (still protected though). I recently had a consultation with William, he was incredibly knowledgeable and professional.
