I called this law firm with a legitimate question about the statute of limitations for a potential case. When I asked if I could speak with an attorney, the receptionist immediately dismissed me with a casual "I don't think I can help you, sorry," followed by an audible smile and laugh. I was taken aback by her tone, especially when I was seeking professional guidance for potential legal business. I let her know I felt disrespected, and only after that did she remember that she could direct me to someone who might help. Unfortunately, by that point, I felt my time and business were not valued. I left the call feeling that my inquiry was not taken seriously. I would recommend this firm seriously consider training their reception staff on handling potential clients in a more professional and respectful manner. I did not catch the young woman's name.
