I normally don't write reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. I came to this firm hoping for guidance and genuine help with my custody case, but I walked away feeling more like a number than a client. There were key things that could've been brought up in court -- things both the Minor's Counsel and Co-Parenting Therapy mentioned -- that were never discussed or presented by my attorney even after reading the papers and the reason why we went back to court. Throughout my case, communication was poor. Several of my emails went unanswered, and when I asked about it, I was told it was to "save me money and to trust them." Yet, I was still billed large amounts for things that felt unnecessary -- including simple custody orders that were basically a copy and paste. At one point, I was even handed another client's paperwork on my court day, which made me feel uncomfortable and uneasy. To make things worse, the judge ordered certain forms to be completed back in October, and I later found out from Minor's Counsel that those forms were never filled out by my attorney. After spending close to $20,000 (and I'm still paying it off), I honestly feel like the system -- and especially this firm -- cares more about billing hours than truly helping families. For a father doing everything possible to be there for his kids, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. I wish my money and effort could've gone toward my children, not wasted on legal work that didn't move my case forward. I could've saved an extra 5000 and just requested Minors Council instead of hiring an attorney. After three years of fighting for my daughter, I finally just gave up on attorneys and I am now trying to trust and hope that things work out.

Claudia and Staci are the best! They helped me with my case and things turned out in my favor. They had a wonderful communication and are very kind. Hard-working and persistence is what you want and it is what they are! I could not be more grateful. I highly recommend this business!

Lauren Franzella is one of the top family lawyers in Modesto. I had a very difficult situation in family court that everything was against me. In my opinion mediator and family court system favor the mothers and value the minors opion.I was not an easy client and I felt Lauren did extremely excellent job. Lauren and her staff always returned calls or emails immediately. Lauren was always up front of what was going to happen even if I didnt want to hear it. At the end of my case she got me a very favorable outcome considering the situation I was in that most attorneys couldn't if they didnt family court experience. Lauren was very fair with her fees.

After 2 years of battling for a divorce, I finally agreed to a settlement based on erroneous information I received from my lawyer Tamie Cummins. I lost thousands due to her mistake. And there are no attorneys that will take malpractice suits against other attorneys. Attention to detail is lacking. I gave 2 stars because I think the divorce process in CA is broken--which isn't her fault.

I Can honestly say I had an amazing experience. One of the hardest things for me is being understood. Legal matters can be quite overwhelming and my experience was not what I expected. My attorney was extremely professional. She listened and understood. Other attorneys wouldn't listen long enough or cut you short because they hear only what they want to hear. That was not the case here. My attorney listened to me and understood me entirely. This helped make my case very easy to handle. I was always updated and never had a hard time contacting her. I highly recommend this firm! Thank you!
