I have worked with a few law firms, and Yarra, Riva & Associates has been the best. I trusted Yarra when I applied for DACA in 2012, and I trusted them again when I applied for an adjustment of status in 2022. Everyone is friendly and answers all your questions, from the people in the office to the Lawyers. During the adjustment of status, I got to work with Leslie Borjas, as she was my assigned paralegal. As soon as I signed the contract, she called me to introduce herself and talked me through all the steps we needed to take to get the case going. Throughout the whole case, she would answer any questions I could have. Promptly response is essential in these matters, and every time I emailed her, she would reply with the answer within a couple of hours or call me to walk me through the process. I could not be happier with her and the firm.

The first thing I want to say is that their Merced office is in a very strange corner. All I can say is I left the place VERY discouraged about my case. I payed $75 for the consultation and I feel like I was rushed out. The guy who helped me seemed like he had somewhere else to be. I gotta admit I went here because I thought it'd be a bit cheaper but I rather go with the lawyer group I initially had in mind. Because even if I pay a little more I know I'm getting the help I need and deserve. I was so uncomfortable after I left their office and just felt like I wasted my time.
