Not going to waste much time on this as I'm sure They will get it removed. A partner from this firm called me out of the blue asking if he could meet with us and said he could help. We had an important meeting coming up soon and decided to accept his offer for legal advice. He said that I would need to bring $1,500 and that I could expect the meeting to take roughly a couple of hours. The rate was obscene and unethical but we had a deadline. Shortly after we sat down, he requested a document, (that he did not tell us to bring). He got up, left the room, as he told us to chase it down immediately and then call him back to the room once we got it.(!) After we located it, he didn't even look at it and simply said "Good, now print it out when you get home and read it." (!) Such a waste of time and money. The meeting was about three hours and he insisted on slooooowly dictating an email for TWO hours of our meeting. Had we been told to bring a PC we could have saved some time on this tedious task. Another huge waste of time and money. This guy knows how to waste time and money like nobody I've ever met. Word to the wise - steer clear. I ended up getting better advice online with AVVO and it was fast and free! Found a much better attorney there too. Oh and the email that he referred to as a 'masterpiece' - turned out to be worthless. The team didn't agree that it made good sense to send it.
