Do not hire her. She does not return phone calls or emails. We had to leave notes with her partner to force her to act on our case. Does not meet deadlines. Completely unprofessional. Took the retainer and delayed our case for months. The opposing lawyer hadn't ever worked with someone so unprofessional and had to file mandates with the court to make her respond on time. Ridiculous behavior from someone who you have hired to help you. Don't make the same mistake.

Unresponsive and unhelpful. Trying to review and update my 93 year-old mothers trust and will, and despite having been a client since 1997, can't get any meaningful response after multiple attempts. Have since moved on to another law office in the area (one that actually returns phone calls).

I hired C.Brooks and as soon as I paid my retainer, she never called me back. Through the pandemic I've been calling. It's been two years and I still have not received a call or email back. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Ms. Brooks is quite literally the worst attorney. I can't imagine a worse attorney and I feel horrible for anyone that has to work with her; zero stars. She never files anything on time or appropriately and I didn't get child support or spousal support. I did better on my own than with her. I'm not sure why she is still even licensed. If I could sue her and win, I would.

C brooks is awful at getting back to her clients on a timely basis. Even after sending emails or phone calls. She took 4 plus weeks just to get a document to the court. Save your money and go elsewhere.
