Not only once but twice now in the last 10 years. And that's not including the letter that was sent to a landlord to shut down an eviction because I was not made aware of my rights. I've had an exceptionally amazing experience with this organization. Most recently working with Rebecca who is hands-down one of the most meticulous and thorough lawyers I have ever seen!!! She carefully guided me through each step and held exceptional communication throughout the entire process! I understand that others may not be able to share these feelings, but I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them! They are massively overworked, covering multiple counties for FREE. There is no way on God's green earth that they can reach everybody who needs their services. So with that said we shouldn't be angry or resentful towards this organization, but we should consider possibly lobbying for some more funding for this organization! It's apparent the services are greatly needed, and I am highly grateful that they even exist here in our rural community! Keep up the great work!!! I would definitely recommend this service to anyone in need, they are awesome. Ms. Rebecca Smith has went above and beyond to help me when she didn't have to, the staff has always been kind and caring and I wish that humboldt had more legal support like the people who work here. It is hard because they have to be selective with cases due to the amount of people needing help but if they could I'm sure they would help anyone needing it. definitely helped my family when we had all the odds against us and I would definitely seek their help again if needed above anyone else....Big thank you to the legal series of northern CALIFORNIA!!!!

This place is a double edge sword... Because of them I was able to do my homework, then find out the codes plus logistics of my classification which has given me the ability not be taken advantage of by the law. I've learned from them that the laws set up to punish those who lie and falsefy, but they also are set in place to let certain factions take advantage of people because of their ignorance of the laws. With that said this is a warning to ALL TENANTS who seek advice from this law firm... They are practicing deceitful tactics and gave me false info about my situation. They were representing my landlord and had served me eviction papers before I reached out to them which were falsified. The lady who served me(who runs this firm)didn't even sign the papers! They were hoping that i wouldn't know my rights and they purposefully tried to mislead me into believing I didn't have a chance to win. But they were wrong. The lady who runs this place(Ranjit K. MARCU, cal registered process server ID PS22-42-HUMBOLDT co.) Actually threaten my life and called me countless names and belittled me tremendously in a 30 sec talk on the phone with her during a recent incident at the property. The sheriff that was called unlawfully and wrongfully to the premises because of my landlord falsely reporting things. They have this lady recorded saying these things to me on the sheriff's chest camera as well as my landlord lying repeatedly. I would Not go to this place even if your desperate because they will always discriminate against the tenant for the landlord. They should be ashamed of themselves and they've prob tricked countless amounts of people out of their rights and due processes.
