I can't thank everyone at Barry Law Group enough for all of the absolute professionalism that they gave to myself and my case. I was involved in a major work accident that left me with a major back injury and unable to work and struggled to walk for over two years. I was very fortunate to be introduced to Mr Jonathan Barry in my time of need. I suffered a life crippling back injury at work early last year. Steven Barry knows his business! I really wanted to simplify and write another word, but decorum and etiquette dictate that I keep these comments professional. But what do I know? Who am I? Background: I am a police supervisor with a California Law Enforcement (POST) certified police department. I am currently assigned to investigations. I have been in law enforcement for almost three decades and can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I was also a sergeant in the United States Army during peacetime and combat operations. Most recently I was a Combat Infantry Team Leader, who served in "Operation Iraqi Freedom" during combat operations in Baghdad, Iraq. I hold a bachelor's degree. I was the police reserve, field training officer, and explorer supervisor. I was the commander of a multi-agency high risk offender apprehension task force. I started my agency's gang unit. I have testified numerous times in Superior and Federal Court, where my law enforcement expertise was recognized. With that being stated, I have been around and worked with numerous lawyers and I know expertise when I see it. Prior to knowing Steven Barry, I had contacted at least ten different lawyers from numerous disciplines, just in the prior eighteen months. None of those lawyers gave me the feeling of genuine concern for any of my situations, except for Steven Barry. Within just a few moments of speaking with him, I could tell "this guy knows what he is talking about." Steven Barry came highly recommended by one of my closest and oldest friends. I now owe that friend a free dinner. When I first contacted Steven Barry, I was defeated and not very confident regarding finding a lawyer who could/would assist me. After speaking with Steven Barry, he agreed not only to take up one of my issues, but also take up another issue, which I was already speaking with another unenthusiastic lawyer about. I am so relieved Steven Barry is representing me in at least two situations. I want him for a third, but I am stuck with the other guy. So, two out of three 'ain't' bad. Steven Barry is extremely busy. Which is a good thing. If you need his assistance, he will make time for you as his schedule permits. And when I mean he makes time, he makes time. Steven Barry will answer all your questions while not making you feel he is in hurry to end the conversation. After working professionally with lawyers since last century and speaking with just under a dozen lawyers in the last eighteen months, I hold the quality of Steven Barry's service in my highest regards. I contacted Jared when I got a feeling the attorney my mom hired wasn't looking out for her best interest, Jared proved that to be very true, and is what having a good attorney fight on your behalf is truly about! Jared, thank you for all you have accomplished for my mom in the little time you have, not only making my mom as happy about her case as you have, but for never making her question whos side you are really on.
