Law Office of Steve Whitworth

I'm so relieved! My case was dismissed today, thanks to Steve Whitworth's excellent legal skills. He's a fantastic lawyer who truly cares about his clients.

I can't recommend Steve Whitworth services highly enough. Not only was he hyper-responsive, and quickly to made himself available whenever I had a concern. He is a skillful, masterful negotiator who went to the mat for me and resolved my case quickly. He is a straight-shooter, yet sensitive and empathetic. I felt confident and assured having his intelligence, experience, and tenacity on my side.

I have had the exact same issues as Ted mentioned .this man took my money they didn't show up to two of my court dates with a child custody case .hes impossible to contact and when he does answer its when he's threatened with being fired and or to go to the state bar .hes messed up my case significantly and caused unessacerry suffering for me and my daughter due to his lack of doing his job that he is paid to do.he had his paralegal Jose call me at 11 am to tell me he was on his way to the court date that was at 10 am and was already completed cuz I hired another attorney as I expected him to not show up and he only called likely cuz the other lawyer(opposing consul) told him I had new consul .the first date he missed he was like yeah im gonna be on zoom what court room is it ? Like um what man ? You dont know what court room it is ?he had completly forgotten about it and never got on zoom if they even offered it .he then didn't get my any visitation with my daughter which at that time I hadn't seen in 3 months due to him not doing his job .i thought hiring a professional would streamline the process .in hind sight it would have been better to just do it myself as it would have gotten done .hes yet to the this day to refund me my money or to give me a bill showing what he's done or follow up like promised on anything or even follow his own contract with me .hes a typical narcissist who will try to sweet talk or gas light depending on how the convo go and try to talk down to you to manipulate and control the conversation .stay clear of him.do no give him your money .i will be going to the state bar and hopefully this time his suspension is longer then one year like what occurred in 2021 -2022 where he took customers money and didn't deposit it in th trust fund but for sure he's done much more unethical things then that I am certain .he is a criminal .stay clear !!!

If you value your time and money, STAY AWAY. I made a big mistake reading positive reviews and hiring mr Steve Whitworth. first appointment was great. Lots of promises and as soon as you make that deposit and he wants you to pay the whole sum right away, you are out of luck. Communication is NON EXISTENT, you will chase and beg him for an updates about your case and in the best case scenario you will receive a text " ALL IS WELL." The most important thing in a lawyer is COMMUNICATION with the client, which is non existent with this lawyer, if you are looking for more stress and loose a lot of money, then go ahead, my recommendation is to find a different lawyer.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Promises me he would take care of a case out of town and failed to show up, sent me an email stating he could not be at the court date at 8pm the night before so basically no notice at all, then 2 days before my next court date he sends me an email saying he's dropping me as a client and will not be showing up, I have already went to families out of town for thanksgiving holiday and he doesn't have the decency to even let me know my court dates til it's too late! I paid this guy way more money than other attorneys wanted because he made it sound like he would take care of everything for me, now I have a bench warrant after giving him THOUSANDS! DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY ON THIS CROOK!
