I called many lawyers before finding Anu and I am so glad and grateful that I hired her to help me. She charges a fair retainer fee, unlike other lawyers who will charge you a ridiculously higher amount. She listened to my story and offered advice without judgement. Please AVOID AT ALL COST !!! Read why below. Ms. Chopra was appointed by the Butte County Superior Court as my Public Defender to represent my interests in criminal Court. Rather than adhere to her obligation, Ms. Chopra chose to argue in open Court that I should BE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY (!!!) during a morning hearing. That argument was successful and I was remanded into custody. Then that SAME AFTERNOON, Ms. Chopra went before the Judge and asked to BE REMOVED FROM MY CASE (!!!). That was also granted by the Court. Ms. Chopra demonstrated clearly to me that her overriding concern is herself, not the client she is supposed to be defending. PLEASE AVOID MS. CHOPRA'S REPRESENTATION. SHE IS WHOLLY UNETHICAL AND SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED BY YOU.

We hired Chopra Law Firm for our son's court case. We were so impressed with Anu Chopra. They weren't our first call, but they were the first to answer and discuss our case. We talked to Anu and were so impressed, we retained her immediately. She told us exactly what she needed from us and she took it from there. The communication via text, email and phone was very good. If I could leave more stars I would. Anu Chopra was extremely helpful in my case. She is very good about communication. Unlike a lot of attorneys I actually felt that she wanted to help me. This women is very smart and I highly recommended you choosing her as you attorney. It was worth every penny!
