I hate to be cliche but, if I could give zero stars I would. Mr West is actually not my attorney, but rather my deceased father's wife's attorney. My father passed away nearly 2 years ago and a beneficiary agreement was quickly drawn up with all parties in agreement. My attorney has sent Mr West countless emails regarding the matter with absolutely ZERO response. I cannot get my fathers wife to fire him because she simple does not want to pay for a bond twice so now myself and my siblings are stuck in this awful waiting game that has no end in site. This is such a simple matter it makes not an ounce of sense as to why he will not DO HIS JOB and finish this case for all grieving parties. This man should not be practicing law in my opinion, this is the complete definition of client abandonment.

When my father died in 2021, we hired Alan West to put the house into a living trust under my mom's name, which was then going to my brother and I when she passed. She ended up passing away in May of 2023, and I decided we should go to a different Lawyer because there was something off about Mr. West, he would never return phone calls, and he just seemed incompetent. This new lawyer discovered that Mr. West never actually turned in any of the paperwork to the recorders office. West said he would handle it, but it has been 5 months and he never returns phone calls, only once I threaten to sue him does his receptionist call back and say that he will call me back... Which he never does. A quick yelp review will reveal that he has done this to multiple people. The few five star reviews he has on Google and Avvo seem fake, the one star reviews are all the same. Stay away from this man, he is dangerous.

My grandmother used him for her estate! She passed may last year. It's been passed 120 days! Alan west himself has never responded back to emails or phone calls. Even my cousin that is in charger of her estate is now reporting him to Ca Barr because he has gotten same answer which was crickets!
I would advise people to stay away from him as he don't do anything or communicate.
