Select Physical Therapy - Burlingame

My physical therapist at Select Physical Therapy - Burlingame conducted an extensive interview (45 minutes) addressing my sciatica diagnosis from my primary care physician. Following the interview, she conducted an analysis of my body movements, flexibility, and arm/leg strength. Finally, she led me through a series exercises and concluded with a printed personalized exercise program which could be accessed through an exercise app. Before leaving the facility, the receptionist furnished a detailed appointment schedule outlining future appointments. I was truly impressed with the professional and through manner in which the entire appointment protocol was handled. Kudos to PT therapist Kayla and receptionist Jenny for doing such an outstanding job. This facility is absolutely the best!!!

I worked with Justin, Olga, and Ying to rehabilitate my shoulder following surgery for a humerus fracture. I made noticeable progress with each session and learned what I could do between/beyond sessions to continue that progress. I am stronger and more flexible now than I was prior to my injury. I strongly recommend this team and their facility!

I came to Select Physical Therapy for elbow pain which was likely tendonitis. My elbow hurt when I opened a door, when I drove, when I opened a jar, etc. Justin was a great PT. My exercise routine was a bit tricky because I have an old shoulder injury that becomes sore if I do any arm exercises that also use the shoulder. Justin was able to show me exercises that greatly improved my elbow without affecting my shoulder. His manner was very easy going and he was easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Select PT and Justin.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Today was one of the most dehumanizing experiences I've ever had in a medical setting. After fighting through chronic pain just to make it to this physical therapy clinic, I was stalled, dismissed, and ultimately denied care. I arrived slightly behind schedule due to impossible parking conditions (located next to a police station) and was still well within my appointment window. Rather than compassion or understanding, I was met with sarcasm, coldness, and condescension from the front desk staff. Instead of offering a solution, they wasted more of my time with needless paperwork they claimed would take 20 minutes--only to tell me moments later I was "too late" to be seen. This is not a place concerned with healing. This is a disorganized, poorly managed facility that lacks empathy, professionalism, and basic human decency. Avoid this clinic if you are dealing with real injury, trauma, or need respectful care. You deserve better.
