Spoke with Erik for phone consultation in the early Fall of 2021, after being recommended by colleague of his on previous opposing cases. Was considering hiring Erik as an additional probate litigator when our family estate came into internal conflict and my own estate attorney was loosing my confidence. I was in tension of being both the estate administrator and also a beneficiary. Erik listened very well, asked good questions, educated me on the options and process before me, but most of all- he validated and relieved my concerns. To my surprise and relief, he said I did not need to hire him at my stage, and affirmed the course and role I was taking.
