She is one of the most authentic human beings I know and easily one of the most competent, badass attorneys in NWA. Makenzie carries herself with integrity. She balances compassion and kindness with no-nonsense honesty. She's well-educated and has a sharp, strategic mind and great sense of humor. She has a good working relationship with her colleagues and is respected by local judges. Makenzie has excellent communication skills. She consistently responded to my emails in a timely manner, and the vast majority of the time, I dealt directly with her. She never made me feel like my questions were silly or my concerns unfounded. She took the time to explain what was happening and what it meant for us, every step of the way. Makenzie is steadfast in her pursuit of justice. She is patient and prepared. Calm and composed. She stayed steady every time I broke down. She is fierce in the courtroom and the way she fights for her clients makes it evident she truly cares. I never wondered if our family mattered to her. I completely understand the other negative reviews of this firm in NW Arkansas. Totally unprofessional group of lawyers. The primary at this law firm thinks he's some kind of pompous big shot and also there are way better attorneys in NWA than Carter Eaton who is just a dirty lawyer. As opposing counsel, Carton Eaton actually collaborated & conspired with his clients to try and maliciously get me unjustly incarcerated when I showed up to the courthouse. Unless I receive a formal written apology letter on Catterlin & Arnold letterhead addressing this serious incident, I will be making a formal complaint with the Arkansas State Bar association to investigate this matter and the associated malicious & conspiratory behavior Carter Eaton engaged in with his clients, which crossed a serious line. When they found out their little diabolical plan had failed miserably and I would not be arrested, Carter Eaton actually then tried to file a continuance because they had no real evidence to support the case and the continuance got appropriately denied and we had a hearing that was over in less than an hour while Carter Eaton bumbled his way through it like an idiot, literally asking me some of the dumbest questions I've ever been asked in my entire life, and he lost. The case got dismissed because I was innocent from the very beginning. 100% true story here. Carter Eaton is a joke and a bad attorney period. This case showed me the justice system does indeed work and good does ultimately triumph over evil. Arrogance, ignorance, incompetence, lies, guesses, and blind unsubstantiated accusations don't win legal cases period. That's just rudimentary law school 101. Definitely look elsewhere if you want quality legal representation from decent attorneys who actually know what they're doing who can get you a fair & positive outcome.

If you don't want to wake up every morning thinking about how Ben Catterlin stole $10,000 of your hard earned money, then I would not hire him. Lying to your face about how he would defend you with a strategic defense, but then when you are all paid he changes his tune to align with the prosecution. The prosecutor, whose sole job is to get to the truth, not just prosecute, couldn't even look at me, she was just out to get me not the truth. The judge, well, that is just another joke. There is no justice folks and there are no sharks in Washington/Benton County's district. This guy told us he was going for a stand your ground defense until 5 days before.the trial, then he laughs and says derisively, we'll it was just a little dog, if you had hit a bigger dog in the pack of dogs attacking you... Of course this was after he took the $10,000. He took both my husband & my case and he didn't even do one thing for my husband. Not even his own consult before the trial. We will be reporting this to the bar association. If this review stops one dollar from going to this pitiful injustice driving machine. Amen.
