If I could give zero stars, I would. Ron Kelsay was assigned as a public defender for my son, and the experience with both him and his office was extremely disappointing and disrespectful. When I contacted the office to schedule an appointment, I was met with blatant rudeness from the administrative assistant--an experience that, based on others' accounts, seems to be common. On the day of the appointment, we were sent back and forth between two offices with no clear communication or coordination. When Mr. Kelsay finally arrived and called my son back, he refused to let me accompany him, even though my son specifically requested my presence. My son wanted support in asking the right questions and understanding the legal process, but Mr. Kelsay denied that request. While I was waiting, I witnessed another young client being called in with their parent--who was invited to join the meeting without issue. I stuck my head in his office and expressed to Mr. Kelsay that I felt it was important to be part of the conversation, and he flatly, again, refused, stating he would not speak with me. After a 40-minute meeting, he emerged, handed me a barely legible handwritten note, and told me I could read that--adding that he still wouldn't speak to me. When I objected, he said, "Your son understands what is going on. You do not." I have never felt more disrespected or condescended to by a professional. My son left the meeting frustrated and confused, unable to explain what had been discussed. All he could say was that Mr. Kelsay told him he was "effed" and that the case would be continued. I ultimately had to dip into my savings to hire a private attorney. Mr. Kelsay is a state-paid attorney, and the people of Garland County deserve far better representation and professionalism than what we experienced.

Ronald kelsay rushed me through a 30 minute consultation, gave me approximately 7 minutes and continued to tell me to send him an $800 retainer before he would look at anything. Receptionist consistently had an extremely bad attitude. I was denied help by this law firm because I sought of help from other attorneys. How pathetic to choose not to help someone who is having a difficult financial time with the loss of several family members. Find some else, anyone else.

The attorney has a bad attitude. I called about reopening a child custody case and he was short and seemed as if he didn't want to answer my questions. He only cared about his retainer and wouldn't give me insight about the process. I live out of state due to military service and I didn't feel comfortable with him handling my business. Again rude, short and this is coming from service member.

I called Ron after looking at several firms to handle my divorce. Our first conversation gave me confidence and a peace of mind that Ron was the attorney with the knowledge and the experience that I needed. Ron had the foresight to lead me in the direction for a fair and fast settlement. I soon realized that Ron had seen enough cases to give me the advice I needed to get this done. I believe that, as they say, "nobody wins in a divorce", but I know that Ron was managing my case with my best interest in mind. I now have a friend that I would recommend to anyone that wants the best and fairest attorney available. You will be in good hands if you have Kelsay Law Firm representing you. Bob Conwell

Very professional, understood our situation, and was on it. A couple of hiccups do to my husbands lack of knowledge on the procedure, but was professionally taken care of with Attorney Ron Kelsays knowledge. Yes, I would highly recommend Mr. Ron Kelsays Law firm. Thank you
