Child custody and divorces are not his forte. Was very uninformative and did not even attempt to acknowledge any of my concerns/requests in the initial court hearing after discussing them with him and he agreed to do so. Everything asked of him was pretty standard for a custody case without the divorce being finalized. When asked why he didn't even mention the things we discussed no real answer was provided. I understand that they may or may not have been granted but you'll never get an answer if the questions aren't asked. I was told if I wasn't satisfied with his services I was more than welcome to seek other council after expressing displeasure and the most common answer was "I have done all I can do" if he bothered to respond at all. He never really seemed to have genuine interest or effort after the initial appearance and was very robotic with his actions and responses with very little information provided. I had heard nothing but good things about him and I don't doubt that he is in most other types of legal proceedings because he is very knowledgeable, but everything felt very impersonal and rehearsed. Cases of this nature involve a lot of emotion and Parent/children relationships and can be detrimental to those relationships if not handled properly. Frustrations were expressed on my end about my requests and lack of follow through with them after being told they would be addressed. He quit 2 weeks before the final hearing leaving very little time to seek new counsel especially while working out of town. I was very disappointed with the concern for my piece of mind and the results I received. I feel he should've at least made it to the final hearing of the child custody before quitting after being questioned about things that I was told would be done and never were. If there was no intention of addressing them that should've been said and explained from the beginning instead of telling me what I wanted to hear and not following through regardless of whether they were granted or not.
