Ultimately, my financial situation has improved thanks to their program. But their responsiveness and communication is very lacking. Many times throughout the past few years, I had called or emailed with a concern. While the reps I speak to are generally very friendly, rarely do they have a solution on the first contact. More often than not, they had to "send a message to that department" with the promise that someone would get back to me in 5-7 days. That return call almost never happens. I always had to be the one to call back explaining that I haven't heard from them and then the cycle repeats.

We entered this program six years ago. The online portal is not helpful. We were told one of our debts was the first to be negotiated and paid off, but it just showed up on our credit after we finished paying their program off. They didn't communicate anything to us so we contacted them to find out why it's showing back up now, and we were told it's still in negotiation and was never paid. WHAT?!? We have been thinking for 4 years now that it was totally done. This is how we find out they never negotiated it the way we were told it was? It turned up on a refinance for our house. We are sick to our stomachs. The lack of communication and information the entire time was unacceptable to begin with and now we are in the dark. We've been done making payments to them for about a year. This is going to cost us a refinance opportunity. At this point I cannot recommend them until they make this right. They need to take care of the debt we were told was clear and wipe it from our credit for good. Very, very upset. When we called it sounds like they've spent years just sitting on it too and not following up negotiations. Unbelievable. They claim they tried to reach out to us with an approval last year and they did not call, nor email that offer. I won't be sharing personal details here. We have already called and were supposed to hear back, but no one has made any effort so we will keep calling every day.

DO NOT USE! I REPEAT DO NOT USE!!! If you can avoid using this firms services please do so. They will take advantage of you especially if you need help. They do not deliver what they say initially. When you initially include an account for be program, you're told to stop making payments. They allow the account to accrue approximately two months or so in interest. By the time you are "done the program" you still have to continue making payments on your own. They add all these additional extra fees, administrative fees, drafting fees etc etc. You're better off contacting your creditors directly and resolving the debt on your own. When the more aggressive creditors take you to court and notify them of the legal action taken upon you they do absolutely nothing, until you're served. Then you pay all these "additional fees" to cover the "attorney fees" to represent you in court, that you've tried to avoid. Last but not least they charge you to draft the money out or your account to put it in an "account" from where they supposedly pay creditors, if they settle that debt.

If I could give zero stars I would. I started this program in October 2017 and should have finished this october 2021. A creditor sued me, and they failed to represent me in court. After a deal was negotiated, they failed to pay the creditor resulting in my bank accounts being frozen. I had to do the work to make a deal on how to get the creditor paid so my account would be released. Before that they increased my monthly payment by over $100 to get things paid off faster. This year they wanted to increase the payment AND extend it by 2 years, doing the math would have me paying $17,000 OVER my original debt. I filed for bankruptcy. Do that instead! Run far and fast from these people.

Don't do it.... Please.... I have been in the program for over 2 years and pay $680 a month. With 4 creditors in the program. So far they negotiated 1 creditor and I had to pay 1 fully out of pocket because it went to litigation and they couldn't do anything to help me.. wanted me to add more money into my monthly payment. If I had extra money I wouldn't join the program. I have paid them over $13,000. They take the fee before they even start to negotiate. Now I have about $6000 in my account... so I paid almost $20,000 to them and had to pay $20,000 to the account that went into litigation . I refinanced my home to get that paid.. Now I'm trying to see how I can get away from my program and add funds to part ways with Anchor as soon as possible. I call and I always get a great CC reps that can't help with details and request a call back from a negotiator and nothing.... a week later I call back again and get a great CC rep that can't help again and still waiting for a negotiator to call back.. this process has caused me so much heart ache and tears... before using this program try to negotiate yourself with the creditors.. I'm out $40,000 and can't get anyone to call me back and help me move forward. Please don't do it.. . they promise you the world at first but it doesn't work out like they say.
