Best Interest Attorney in Navajo County My experience with Dan Thulin as a best interest attorney was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. As someone who is appointed to represent the best interest of the children, Mr. Thulin is supposed to remain neutral and objective. Instead, he demonstrated clear bias against my husband and me throughout the case. We were in court seeking full custody due to repeated issues of neglect by the children's biological mother--concerns that were serious and well-documented. Rather than focusing on the well-being and safety of the children, Mr. Thulin made inappropriate, judgmental comments. At one point, he told us that we should not have spent money on legal representation and should have instead "supported the cause" by buying the children clothes. This was offensive and completely disregarded our efforts to protect the children through the legal system. Even more concerning, he made statements implying that we were unfairly "picking on a single mother who lives off the government." This comment showed a clear bias and lack of professionalism. It was hurtful, uncalled for, and completely missed the point--that the children were not being properly cared for, and we were trying to step in and provide stability. Mr. Thulin's tone was rude, dismissive, and at times disrespectful. It felt as though he had made up his mind about us from the beginning without genuinely considering the facts or the best interests of the children. His involvement in the case did not help bring clarity or fairness--it only made the process more difficult. In my opinion, Dan Thulin did not fulfill his duty as a best interest attorney. He allowed personal bias to interfere with the legal responsibilities of his role, and that is unacceptable in cases involving the care and future of children. I would not recommend him to any family seeking fairness or true advocacy for the well-being of children.
