Very slow and unresponsive, has failed to hold up his end of the contract helping my daughter, hasn't sent monthly statements so we literally have no idea what's left on her retainer, asked him A MONTH AGO to create a final agreement between my daughter and her soon to be ex-husband since they came up with an agreement on their own BUT no such agreement yet, has failed to have respect for my daughter's situation in this divorce or respond to any of her emails timely, FAILED to schedule the mediation that was ordered by the court (which is why the two parties talked and came up with a civil agreement between them). I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS ATTORNEY TO ANYONE!

began consulting with him in October of 2023 when we were told this all would be about a 3 month process. We had our adoption court date finally in February of 2024, after that I couldn't get ahold of him no matter what I did. Finally he emailed me a tracking number for my daughter's birth certificate in which was ultimately denied due to all of the paperwork he did being filled out incorrectly (which is what the human services told me). I now have not heard from him since July of 2024, and still have received no birth certificate (which I paid him to get.) this has all been creating conflict of my daughters sports, and preschool. So I've had to take it upon myself to hire a new lawyer, and pay even more money to attempt to get her birth certificate myself. Paid him the money for all of this upfront. It really shouldn't be so difficult to get ahold of your lawyer. I've called the office 22 times, and emailed 4 times, every time I get the secretary and she says "she'll leave a message for him" (Mr Steven if you're seeing this a call back, an explanation, or my money back would really be appreciated....)

Steven has helped me with several different legal issues, getting land my father's lawyer never got put in his trust ; changed over to his heirs names, then the selling of the property which was in his home state. Steven is always happy to give you time to give advice on what your best recourse would be in matters. He is a very personable man, doesn't try to rush you. Takes time to listen. I will keep going to him, very well versed in law and does not treat you like a number.

Met with this attorney on July 12. He agreed to take our case and a plan of action was agreed upon. He commented he was busy & we specifically asked if he was too busy to help us in a timely manner. He assured us he was not and that our matter would be handled in 'a couple of days'. It has now been nearly two months and we have had no contact from him, we have called his office four times, each time we were told he was unavailable and left a message with his secretary. He has never returned our calls or done the agreed upon paperwork that we paid him upfront for.

Can't get ahold of this guy no matter how often you try to call. Never returns calls. Must not have a secretary unless she is always asleep. I got tired of hearing the same answering machine message so moved on to an attorney that will answer the phone. Good luck if you are set on this exact lawyer. I would suggest plan B,C, or D first!
