I can't say enough good things about this firm! Attorney William Poole came highly recommended by two different people that I respect and admire, but my personal experience was even better than expected. Laura did an amazing job with our claim, and went above and beyond to help me, and my family. Their fees were affordable, and the quality of services was superb. Highly recommended!

I came home from running errands. I had a note on the door. Didn't think any of it. I opened the letter up. Lo and behold William Poole's name is on a letter. Long story short, Courtney my apartment manager put this "intimidation letter" on my door. She is literally printing out William Poole's letters on her computer in her office, possibly even signing the document. (Fraud, misrepresentation) All good except the simple fact I am legally given 14 days notice plus an additional 7 days to evict someone out of my 1 bed, 1 bathroom unit. William never bothered to verify this information. This letter was put on my door after 10 days of my friend staying over. I asked for a 3-day extension. Courtney agreed to this. So, I should had 17 days to evict my friend out. Instead I was given 10-days notice. I know that the courts are serious about protecting these rights we have as renters. I didn't really understand why this notice was on my door. My neighbor's lease was up. He asked if he could crash on my sofa for a few days. I was letting my neighbor sofa surf for a couple of days. He is sick. He is dying of congestive heart failure, kidney cancer (smoking), possibly cirrhosis of the liver. I did what I could for him. I hate to see people die from drinking and/or smoking. It's just so preventable. I did not know how sick he really is and the fact that his house buying plans fell through. I finally ended up kicking him out. I really hated to do it. William called me up and cussed me out. Told me that wills, probate, liens, etc. don't need to be notarized. This is a bold faced lie. He said eviction notices don't need to be notarized as well. How do you really know who really wrote this letter if it's not on legal letterhead. Anyone could have wrote this. I am deaf and autistic. It hits differently when people yell at me. It just really does. I can't believe he hung up on me. I cannot believe William lies with such impunity. Yelling at deaf people is a new low. I really only seek to understand the law. That's the truth.

Mr. Poole has been representing me through a family law situation. By my experience working with him I would have to say he has to be the best family law attorney in Mobile county. It's quite a unique situation. I'm sure whatever services you would hire him for, he would be the same for anything else within the law his services cover. I'm glad I chose him as my attorney. It surely has paid off because of his knowledge and years of experience. It all really shows when you get to work with him, talk to him and see him in action. Highly recommended by me for sure. Again I'm very glad I made the choice of Mr. Poole to represent me. Do your part and I guarantee you he will do his part too. Don't delay or look any further if you need an above and beyond hard working attorney.

Client

I hate leaving one star reviews. Carrying a conversation with Mr Poole is enjoyable. He's friendly, social and likeable. As far as the work they do, I was not impressed. I was a client for several years, and brought many collections cases with high values. The work and effort was minimal. I had to repeatedly answer the same questions. It took over a year on one case and two on another because they were hoping to get a settlement and take 20% of our money without having to work for it. It's horribly sad because I had great faith in him

He has always met with me in the amount of cases and things he has going on he takes the time just to sit with you and say ok this is what we should do from here. I hired him to gain custody of my daughter back from her unfortunate taking from the absolute worse dhr governmental process I personal have ever dealt with. Not all people there just in my personal opinion of what ive neen through/seen so far. He Is straightforward and tries his very best to get you in a position to win. I definitely recommend him for his prices and his great work ethic. The ladies in the office are great and stay on top oeverything as well not once have i wonder what was going on they are through and so far the best lawyer I have dealt with.
