I hired Mr. Canida in July 2022 for a very serious case in Baldwin County involving multiple felony charges. I have a long history with the legal system due to over 20 years of addiction-related charges. I have been to prison a few times already. But after this arrest, I made the life-changing decision to get clean and turn my life around--starting with getting into treatment. At the time, the court was not willing to release me on bond, but Mr. Canida fought hard to make that happen so I could enter treatment. Retaining him was the best decision I could have made. The prosecutor was determined to send me to prison, and in the past, I would have just accepted that.
