Even though my case didn't end in the outcome I had hoped for, I truly could not have asked for better counsel than Jordyn and Eve at Coal Creek Law. Throughout the entire process I always felt heard, supported, and respected. They were extremely competent, thorough, transparent, and quick-witted. My divorce is in it's third year. Rob piper has been very honest. In the three years worth my dads situation with needing a guardian and his divorce(dementia) and passing with Covid. I have had seven lawyers in this three years. With Rob Piper, he is honest. He will be upfront saying if you chose this I will do my best to defend your choice. However I do believe this as a choice or even this as a choice is your best outlook court wise. None of my other lawyers did this for me regarding my father divorce/guardianship. My dad passed with Covid. And rob was gracious but kept me up to getting court needs figured out for my own divorce. He did his best to adjust to judges wants and responding to a judge when forced into a timeline. He did not make me feel bad about having 100's of pages of document. Also Rob is upfront saying we could do this but it will be xyz costs. And we could try this and save possibly this amount. He is frugal with his time. He says we could do this but I don't think we stand a good chance winning on this issue and not a good use of my time. We should probably focus on this issue and hope to get traction. He helped manage a DV and protection order and custody and assisting with figuring out basic stuff about exchanges. He did not make me feel that my stress over just exchanges was not worth his haste to help figure issues out. He also does what he can to end my need of a lawyer. To end my divorce. His intentions are for me to not need him anymore as a goal. Not to keep charging me. He also is hopeful when setbacks happen and does what he can to get me to focus on forward movement. Divorces are stressful. Rob helps take some of the burn with ya and apply bandages best he can and focus on getting back up and defending. He is also good at fact checking. He trusts me but to make sure I'm not missing something he asks for the actual text to view himself before responding to court or other lawyers. I'm not perfect. Have made mistakes. He helps me not make anymore with prudent advise. I'm sure he wouldn't be here if it was not a good and ethical lawyers office. So if ya can't get Rob I would trust others there. And the front desk lady helped me feel better when I was stressed out getting paperwork signed at their office and making the day with minutes to spare for court. She remained calm while I was pacing and she said I will let you know when it is faxed and done. Very appreciative of this office.

They were opposing counsel. Part of the settlement was money owed to us. At first they said we had to wait. Called us back several days later and said there was a mistake and check was ready to pickup, all but $500. No real explanation of why (not sure when we'll get it). We agreed on time the next morning. We arrived at business at agreed on time only to be told it hadn't been authorized to give to us. No one in office could authorize it and didn't know when that would be. Called us less than 30 minutes later saying we could pick it up. Another trip downtown to pick up the check.
