I reached out to Joe in regards to a step parent adoption and termination of parental rights. I thought everything was going to be a complete mess and pain, but in the 30 minute consultation he managed to ease my mind. He was extremely professional in that he did not give me any false hope, but facts on how things would proceed and what the next steps would be in the event things went side ways. There was no unnecessary communication just to rack up a bill. If I had to do it all over again I would absolutely make the same decision to have Joe on my side.

A lot of empty promises from Joe Skemp. Threatened to withdraw from case multiple times because my case was on his back burner. -Does not advocate for his client. -Bills for work he hasn't done. -Afraid of other attorneys and won't bring up is OWN client concerns. -His paralegals are unprofessional and will laugh at you when you make requests. FOR YOUR FAMILIES SAKE, DO NOT PICK THIS GUY.

Getting a divorce was a very difficult experience to have to go through. Joe and his team were there for me every step of the way. There was a comfort level that made me feel that I was all they cared about. I'd recommend them in a heart beat.

Where do I start.... First of all Mr. Skemp called me kiddo the entire time (I'm 35 and paying him). He also decided to sit on my financial agreement for a week when I was trying to sell my marital property. Do not use this law firm if you want to be treated like less than a human and over charged.
