I have met attorneys who were attorneys in name only, and that was that. Joe Recka is an attorney in life and in person; everything about him communicates who he is. Most important, he knows what he is doing and why he is doing what he is doing. My acquaintance with him was through a good friend of mine that had a serious legal matter. During the handling of the matter, Joe's mannerism and methodology were impeccable. His focus on the legal matter was frozen in and he persisted that we do that same. After the matter was closed, I stated to my friend that if Joe had not been the attorney handling the case, the out come would have been totally negative and ruinous. My friend and i could not have been more pleased and thankful for what he accomplished. I found Joe to be matter-of-fact, to-the-point and a get-it-done kind of man. And that's exactly what I needed during a difficult divorce process, already raging with emotions. Mr Recka and staff did a great job during my divorce. He commands respect and professionalism, and as long as you don't break that rule you will get along with him just fine.

This guy is a joke. I was trying to quietly explain an inaccuracy in court and he yelled at me to "shut up". He was trying to sue my ex for something that I didn't want. It was a mess and I fired him.
