While my case did settle outside of court -- which I consider a win -- I had several concerns and disappointments with the handling of my case. Most concerning was that I was repeatedly assured I would have the opportunity to review the Demand Letter before it was sent. I asked multiple times for this, but the final time I inquired, I was casually informed that it had already been sent without my input. This was incredibly frustrating and left me feeling excluded from a crucial part of the process. I still wonder if we could have demanded more, but I was never given that chance. Additionally, I felt we had a strong case, so I was surprised when David, the attorney, encouraged me to accept a settlement that didn't reflect the full extent of the financial and emotional toll the accident caused. It gave me the impression that he may have been more focused on a quick resolution than maximizing my outcome. Finally, after my case was closed, I was accidentally copied on two unrelated client emails. This made me question how securely my own personal information was handled. In the end, the case was resolved, which I appreciate -- but I'm left with lingering doubts about how things were managed.
