I hired Josh after having gone through two previous divorce attorneys who overpromised, overcharged, and underdelivered. My case was extremely difficult--my ex was doing everything possible to make the process litigious, vindictive, and emotionally draining. It was a textbook example of bad-faith tactics and weaponized procedure. From the moment I started working with Josh, it was clear he was different. He is by far the most professional and efficient attorney I've worked with. He respected my time, never wasted a minute on unnecessary meetings or posturing, and brought a level-headed, pragmatic approach to a highly charged situation. Unlike other attorneys who tried to steer the case toward what they thought was best, Josh focused on executing the strategy I wanted--while still offering thoughtful, realistic guidance at every step. He never judged me or minimized what I was going through. That kind of integrity matters deeply when you're navigating a high-conflict divorce. My only constructive feedback is that in situations where the opposing party is clearly acting in bad faith--particularly when it comes to financial fishing or intimidation tactics--I would have appreciated a more assertive posture. Josh leans toward collaboration and de-escalation, which is usually wise, but in certain moments I wished he had drawn a firmer line and pushed back more strongly. However, hindsight is 20/20, and the cost of unnecessary escalation is usually higher than settling. There is no winning in a divorce case, except perhaps for the divorce legal industrial complex (attorneys, mediators, judges, etc. who have built obscene wealth by perpetuating an opaque and outdated system of family law). That said, I would absolutely recommend Josh to anyone navigating a complex or emotionally fraught divorce. He is decent, strategic, and relentlessly professional. I only wish I had found him sooner.

I know this review will not stay up long. Do not use this firm. Josh Lowell cost me thousands & thousands of dollars. I do not think he knew what he was doing when he was my counsel. He failed to file a status quo order & my now ex-husband cleaned out the joint account & stopped contributing his paycheck to the household as soon as I filed for divorce. Left me financially stuck but the bills from Josh to read emails kept rolling in!

It was amazing to work with Josh and Linda. They have been instrumental in settling my car accident case quickly and with a great outcome. They kept me well informed throughout the entire process. I can highly recommend working with Josh and Linda.
