Mr. Bowman was assigned as my husband's court appointed attorney and I will be the first to say that he is strongly not recommend. Even as a free attorney. When he first met my husband the interaction was brief and he told him he would be in touch. About a month later my husband was told that his hearing was being post poned. I didn't need an explanation for the postponement as he admittedly told my husband and his family that he had been moving offices.. personally I could care less. Your jobs your job. So the day before his next court hearing he receives a phone call from Mr.Bowman who stated that he could not find my husband in jail, he has supposedly been physically looking for him... how you can't find an inmate in a jail is beyond my cats level of comprehension. Mr. Bowman goes on to offer my husband a deal without hearing any of the details about his case from him specifically and after finally letting my husband speak tells him to not even take the deal and wait once again for another hearing. FINALLY, my husband goes to court and negotiates for a better deal than his own lawyer was capable of getting. I haven't been to law school and am not entirely familiar with all of these things but I'm pretty sure the person with the law degree should be handling everything.. so thank you Mr. Bowman for getting my husband's foot in the door so he could negotiate on his own behalf. If it's not obvious I wouldn't recommend using this man at all and if assigned do yourself a favor and ask the judge for someone else.
