Inaction: When it comes to actual court, he's about as effective as a screen door on a submarine. His cross-examination technique? Maybe at the next court date... Negotiation: Here's where he shines... or rather, where he thinks he does. His idea of negotiation involves making deals that leave you wondering if he's on your side or the opposition's. The Aftermath: After losing your case, you'll realize you've not only lost financially but also in dignity. His parting words? "Well, you could appeal... or maybe just move to another state", with a hand firmly placed on your lower back...lower. With Butts, it's not just his name that's an embarrassment. Even his client's get the 'butt' of the deal.

James Butts does not listen well, provides inaccurate work, unclear instructions, and appears very professional until you question anything he says, or you wish to discuss alternatives. Then becomes very arrogant. Seems to forget who works for who. Would not recommend.

Worst attorney experience of my life. Slow to communicate and charged me top dollar to simply show up in court and plead guilty on my behalf... I could have simply paid the speeding ticket by mail... And save myself the attorney fee... Now after the conviction , which I was notified by mail from the court, they do not answer the phone .

This is by far the worst gay nightclub I've seen.
