Lugar Injury Law: Workers Comp and Personal Injury Attorneys

Ms. Lugar is the best lawyer I have ever had to represent me. She has excellent communication skills and her office is very timely with their responses to any and all questions you might have! Most lawyers play checkers when it comes to their clients, however Ms. Lugar understands that it is chest not checkers and is always two steps ahead of the game all the while maintaining her integrity in the courtroom, Any expectations one would have for a lawyer I can guarantee she will surpass them! Even the judge gave notice to her and how well she was doing her job in my case! I would recommend her to anyone who is wanting to come out on top with the decision in their favor! She is honest and always ready to work for her clients. I look for her to go many great places in life!

I'm making this to be fair, but didn't plan on making this review. I see a sign of resistance to constructive criticism mainly with consultations, I recommend being perceptive on them. Here it goes: 3 stars I feel is generous, since I see 1 star as "I felt no confidence in trusting this lawyer" which is what my instincts felt on this one, but I see she has a record of approval, and she did give an idea of what I could look for in the future. However, I seek professionalism and aggressiveness. It is only a consultation, but not a free one. The way I see it.. If I'm not persuaded someone is up to the task, that's my impression of how it would go in a court hearing. The appointment was indeed late. She responded on here "I saw everything but the Google link." The Google link contained it all. From my observation of the email received on what documents to provide -- there was no instruction on what was too much, or too little, but the opening phone question showed no indication of skimming the issue which could've saved time and provided loads more detail. In my experience, any time I see *any* type of expert with information provided to them prior, but they begin with "So what is it?" It doesn't go well. I understand not being thorough for a consultation, but the feeling of uncertainties and laws I provided concerned in print to leave out questions of what they say, I feel, could've made the phone time more fruitful, and made me feel more certain about pursuing a case further. I raise the stars higher because she at least makes clear what she feels would make a case strong for her -- if someone decides to choose go in a full scale legal pursuit. I certainly feel a case could be solidified, but I didn't feel the confidence in this consultation. I hope this can be useful in the future to improve communications.

So, this was my experience at this law firm in sum: Scheduling an appointment was easy, told us their rates up front, and told us their experience with certain cases. The issues: They cancelled our first appointment because we "did not send paperwork" regarding our issue. We thought that was understandable, so we gathered our paperwork and rescheduled for the week after. We get our phone consultation, she is 15 minutes late, only to tell us that she did not read our paperwork, and that reading our paperwork is "more than necessary for a phone consultation. That would be too much for every case." She proceeds to tell us we do not have a case, but I am confused by one thing: Why was my initial consultation appointment cancelled for paperwork that you were not going to look at in the first place? She did not even look at the basics of my case. I even broke down the Virginia laws myself on what was broken, and she ignored all of that and said it did not matter! Like I paid $100 fee for an hour-long consultation that lasted only 20 minutes, for you to show up late, and not look at the paperwork that you cancelled my initial appointment for. If I could review this with zero stars, I would, as the professionalism and overall lack of care are despicable. Now I am out $100 and with fewer answers than when I showed up.

Cerid is flat-out amazing. I absolutely recommend her for an injury case. She was super helpful gathering everything up, keeping me in the loop, and talking the insurance adjuster into getting a fair result. She's wonderful.
