After my car accident, which was not my fault, I met with Charles "Trey" Smith and Tara. Frank Clay also joined them later in the process.They assured me they could "win" my case. Almost a year later, I was pleased with the settlement. During that time, I found them to be professional, communicative, friendly, responsive, and diligent. Each time I reached out to one of them, that person responded in a timely matter. I will not hesitate to hire them again.

I was in a castesrophic accident and left me with horrific injuries. I have life altering injuries. I was referred to Matt Broughton, attorney and his team Jared Tuck. I had no clue what to do about my long term health and expenses related to the accident. I received letters from the hospital and insurance company. I had to go to traffic court twice for the first time in my life. Matt Broughton and Jared Tuck walked me through each step. They were there everyday. What impressed me was their encyclopedia knowledge of the law, they asked me to always be honest and follow their advice. Matt is kind, honest, he has integrity, he has a zest for helping people, he impressed me by his love for his family and his team. The Gentry Locke attorneys in Roanoke has a long history of excellence. My case was settled in 18 months and it was a fair and excellent settlement. Jared Tuck is a young attorney who works with Matt. I was equally impressed with his knowledge, integrity, kindness, love of family and a goal of helping others with complex legal issues. We were referred to Alicha Grubb for a potential case that we wanted assistance with. After a quick consult over the phone, I was assured she would call me back within the day to make sure she was able to represent. After I didn't receive a call back for several days, I reached out and left several voicemails requesting a follow up and even emailed the Gentry Locke page requesting someone else if she didn't/couldn't assist. Being in a customer service business myself, I find it very unprofessional that I couldn't even get a simple phone call or email back from this firm. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed that they came highly recommended and this is the outcome I was provided with. Easy 1 star rating because of this experience.

I would not recommend this law firm. Although I was able to talk to an attorney the same day and get questions answered regarding my current situation, it was clear that whomever I talked to did not understand the urgency of my situation. The conversation itself seemed to be condescending in nature and did not seem to have any sense of authentic compassion. I somewhat felt like reaching out to them did more harm than help.

Was told told they could help me with my issue as stated on their website but because they are affiliated with the company that wronged me they could not help they are a part of the problem a part of the scam not good people
