Prince William County General District Court

This place right here I've been to like a lot of times man when I say this place have saved me and preserved me from so many things I mean it first I want to thank the public defenders officer and give miss Laura Graham her flowers and I want to say thank you for believing in me and relaying my message to. The Courts for me For miss Grace Kemp for also believing in me when I didn't know how to readjust to myself for Judge Rogers for giving me a chance in this community and just allowing me to experience better if I didn't have these ppl in my life I wouldn't be where I am today by feeling so grateful my journey is not over but here's where it started to miss Breanna Matthews who works with the CSB and Pathways thank you so much I am healthy today and very much grateful for you all

I called for over 4 hours to reach traffic court but couldn't I hit the civil option to try to get help but the girl who answered was nasty when I asked her name she said "that's not important " very dismissive and rude I will be following up to file a complaint further because that was unprofessional and I didn't deserve that especially when I told her how long I've been trying to get someone in that department. No one ever answers the phone in traffic it's ridiculous

Finally got a hold of them.. I would leave a 1 star because it is very hard to get ahold of them but the lady who answered was sweet so she gets a extra 2 stars

On my 21st call, or 6th hour on phone / hold, over the past 1 month. No one picks up or it goes to the recording and then the line drops. Probably faster to walk the 20+ miles. Way understaffed.

Absolutely unacceptable experience with the Prince William District Court. Last year, we resolved a traffic case and never heard anything further--no notices, no updates, nothing. Suddenly, police showed up at our home looking to handcuff my younger son for a missed court date that apparently involved my older son. It was a terrifying experience for my younger child, who had nothing to do with the case, and no adult was home at the time. This happened solely because we were never informed of any court date, and the court had reassigned the public defender without notifying us or ensuring any contact. I made countless attempts to reach the newly assigned defender--no answer. Calling the court is equally frustrating; no one picks up or you get stuck on endless hold. It's clear this court lacks basic communication and coordination. The entire process was disorganized and unprofessional, and my family is left dealing with the emotional fallout of a mistake we had no part in creating. This is not how a court should operate.
