Hawkins Burcher & Boester

Have had to hire Tom Burcher on several occasions where I was wronged and had to defend myself. Tom took care of everything in a professional manor and his knowledge of the laws and the justice system in the area is probably one of the best in the Hampton Roads area. Needless to say after hiring Tom Burcher the outcomes in the court room were as exactly we thought and won the cases fair and square by the law. So if you are in need of a great attorney look not further than Tom Burcher for your defense needs.

I've never been in a court room where not only does the GAL lie to the judge, but also sprouts on about biblical times. Not only did the GAL from this office only meet with the child (15) for less than 30 mins , but flat out told the child not to worry that he would make it happen. Only to come into court have no ideal of the child's name(to quote "I'm sorry your honor, but I get so many of these cases"). It's strange how you think a GAL is there for the child, but really it's the dollar. Paid either way. And before anyone starts that I'm bitter from a case, I'm not. I'm bitter from how a court appointed GAL can conclude what's best after 20 mins..no visits to home, no talking with schools, nothing. It's worst that he couldn't even face the child in question after the case. I strongly recommend someone upto date with children other than Burcher. Unless we all should go back in time to men working and women barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen. *As this is a review of one partner, it does not effectively define the others in this firm as I have not had the pleasure of meeting them. As pre the 1st amendment freedom of speech is a right to every American, unless Burcher is dealing with your case, then children should be seen and not heard before 18 years of age. I wish the best of luck anyone who is assigned burcher.*
