Raj Dua worked with me on a speeding ticket that I informed him I wanted to plea "not guilty" because I'm pretty sure I'm not guilty of it and I wanted to go to trial. On the day of court I was running a little bit late cause I got stuck in traffic. He pretty much did not communicate with me about the case at all. I waited in court 3 extra hours to find out he plead no contest which is an acceptance of conviction, and had not told me. I found this out from the judge because I was the last one in the room and all cases were done for the day, and I had not been communicated with. He gets 2 stars because he reduced it a good amount and took a case last second before the original court date due (which he extended without anybody in the courtroom that day initially knowing; also until a day before original date I thought I'd had a lawyer but turned out not to be the case, hence the last second. But that doesn't necessarily justify pleading conviction in a case I believe myself innocent of. My car insurance has tripled in price and I have to straighten that out now, this being a big part of that.
