One of the benefits of my job is a free hour with an attorney. After the passing of my wife in January and trying to figure out Virginia's estate laws, I gave up and was very lucky to get an appointment with Mr. Wade. His office was very easy to find, the office atmosphere was quiet but busy and the receptionist was very nice. I arrived a bit early and was actually seen before my scheduled time. Mr. Wade answered all of my questions along with explaining why the Virginia code worked the way it did. He gave me advice on what to look out for, as widows and widowers are often prime targets for fraud and such during this time. With the information I provided, his recommendation was not to go to probate (which matched the information from my own research too.) After an hour I knew what my next steps would be and felt as if a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I felt he was very honest and was straightforward about whether or not I needed to continue to see him. He could have easily racked up additional hours but didn't do anything of the sort. We finished up, he gave me his business card and let me know that if I had any questions to please contact him. Of course, this time it wouldn't be free, but I would definitely go back to Mr. Wade and strongly recommend that you check him out.

Ms. Wade, as represents this firm, is truly a blessing as an attorney. She and her staff proves the professional and serious support for client legal matters. Ms. Wade upholds her Oath as an Attorney, her honest and frank service to clients leaves room for no confusion. She gets to the point of matters and performs for swift resolution. Honorable to witness her sharp, and straight-shooter approach in the courtroom to get client and legal matters "Right". Ms. Wade brings a fair and ethical composure into the courtroom; carrying for clients honest representation. Feedback based on my experience with this office. Attorney Greg Wade was unable to keep a scheduled (and confirmed) appointment. Would not recommend. I contacted this office on a Thursday afternoon in order to schedule an initial consultation with one of the office's attorneys. The receptionist was friendly and helped me to schedule an initial consultation with Greg Wade the following afternoon, Friday at 3 p.m. The following day, Friday, I spoke with Greg Wade on the phone at 12:08 p.m.and confirmed our appointment for later that afternoon at 3 p.m. Upon leaving work early at 2 pm, and getting on the Metro in order to travel from my office to the office of Greg Wade, I looked at my phone and noticed that Greg had left me a message at 1:47 p.m. "Sorry, after second thought I will not be able to make the appointment this afternoon. We will need to reschedule." Odd. We'd just spoken two hours prior and confirmed the appointment. Seeing as I'd already planned my afternoon around the appointment, left work early (which is money out of my pocket, by the way), and gotten on the Metro, I decided to make my way to Greg Wade's office anyway. Upon signing-in at the office, the receptionist called Greg Wade on the telephone. I was notified that Greg Wade was unavailable and I would need to reschedule. I cannot attest as to the quality of the legal services provided by this office. If your schedule is flexible, they may offer adequate legal advice. If you are a working professional and require that your attorney adhere to scheduled (and confirmed) appointments, this is likely not the law office for you.

A number of years ago, Gretchyn Meinken helped me resolve my sister's estate--something that should have been a simple matter but for the interference of an out of state extended family member. To ensure everything was done right by the state of Virginia, I engaged Ms. Meinken who professionally dealt with the claims brought by the interfering party's counsel, who may have been less experienced in family and estate law than Gretchen, but with whom she worked patiently, but as efficiently as possible, to make sure all parties were confident in the lawful outcome. I will always be grateful to Gretchyn for the service she provided during a difficult time. And it is with no hesitation I can wholeheartedly recommend her!
