I did not enjoy my experience with 1LAW. My lawyer got her 2500 retainer fee. Long story short: We ended up going to mediation everything I opted for she insisted the judge wouldn't go for. Even though we ended up settling in mediation. She made me feel like I wasn't doing what was best for my daughter and pressured me into the "optional schedule". I didn't want to do 90% of the things she suggested, but she didn't care what I wanted. She said she knew the judge wouldn't go for what I was asking so we went with everything she wanted. Honestly I didnt even need to be there because I didn't have a voice with this woman, and when I did, she shamed me into doing what she says regardless. I highly do not recommend this office. I'm not an outspoken or pushy person, and she completely took advantage of that. After mediation was said and done, I emailed to ask her a few questions to clarify some things in the order and she informed me she was not my lawyer anymore. Never once was I rude or harsh to her. I only put one star because I can't put 0. The next go round in court I represented myself. And I did better alone than having her represent me.

Great Lawyer and friend. Mike has always taken great care of all my professional needs. He is brilliant and handles everything with such professionalism. The one thing that I really admire is his confidentiality. I will always highly recommend 1Law.

Mike has been handling our needs for 13 years and has always had our best interests at heart. He knows when to go forward and when to hold back. He walked us through all the hard times in and out of court in the legal system. He is one of the most intelligent people we know. He is always aware of helping us keep the costs down. We can't express how much we appreciate all he has done.

My experience with 1Law was beyond excellent. Time was created to answer my questions in addition to giving me additional things to consider. Mike was candid, direct and incredibly honest. This approach was perfect for me because I then understood the process and how to be better be prepared for the situation. Doug Neeley was by far the worst attorney I've ever used. He would send me court summons with "Please do not attend" stamped on them, then would not reschedule or show up himself. I finally got a call from the court wanting to know why I wasnt showing up for my court dates. This guy almost lost my kids for me. When I finally got ahold of him and told him I wanted custody, he told me "There is no chance for you to get your kids away from their mother". I promptly fired him on the spot, and hired a new lawyer. It took 2 hearings and I now have custody of my kids. This guy is a joke.
