0 stars! I would highly recommend and advise you to seek an alternative option if you are seeking a criminal defense attorney to represent you in your legal matter. James is not the person you want to hire! He will gladly take your money and let you rot in jail and hand you over to the system. You better hold on to your money tight and run the other way if you want a fair chance in court. I hired him, and my daughters dad sat in jail for 5 months getting his court date pushed back. I fired him and hired another lawyer who did the job in 1.5 months. The excuse James gave was that he could not obtain the discovery file, but his office is located right across the street from the courthouse. The lawyer I hired had the discovery file in his office within TWO weeks and let me STRESS the IMPORTANT FACT that he was located 10 HOURS AWAY!! DO NOT HIRE James for any criminal matters!!!

We had questions about setting up our non-profit, and Mr. Perez was an enormous help. He provided us with the appropriate forms and direction, then his office filed paperwork with the State of Texas for us and notified us upon hearing back with approval. It's easy to put off reaching out to professional service providers when you're concerned about cost, judgement, or not knowing the process. Mr. Perez was open, honest, and understanding. Recommend.

Poor criminal defense lawyer, doesn't fight for his clients or negotiate plea deals. Stay away if your case is criminal related.

Mr. Perez is definitely someone you can trust that will be by your side all the way through.
