Law Office of Walter Reaves, PC

Hired Walter Reaves September 2020 to work on a case that was already as old as he was, a 2014 case. I could never get hold of him to ask about the case so I stopped making payments to get his attention in the hopes of getting a phone call. The best he could do with his 100 years of so called experience was get 6 years probation. He never investigated the case or put in an order of dismissal or anything that would have helped prove my innocence. I didn't get a phone call from this man until 2023. I wanted a trial but I refused to go in blindsided. I plead "guilty" just to get him off my case as well as having to file a grievance on him. Finally January 2024 he was off the case. Now finally I was able to get my case dismissed with Billy Clark of Dallas who went way over and beyond and got it dismissed In less than 6 months. Walter Reaves was on my case almost 4 years and didn't do anything. His staff Brenda is very rude and argumentative with clients. Brittany did all the work and did the best she could. I wouldn't recommend Walter Reaves to represent anyone nor do I recommend him to people of color. He is another Baylor Law school graduate like EVERYONE else in McLennan county. They all do the same thing like robots. If you are a POC I recommend Billy Clark. Don't waste your money with Walter Reaves he will get you nothing but set offs all to try to get you probation or prison. It's not worth it at all. UPDATE TO REPLY: I appreciate the offer to reach out to the office, but my reply was over six months ago. Unless you are giving me a partial or full refund, I have no desire to reach out. My review still remains the same. I would not recommend this law office to represent an injured turtle. If you would like to talk about giving me some of the 4,000 and some odd dollars back, I have no reason to contact. My case was dismissed with Billy Clark of Dallas, not Walter Reaves.

It is never a good thing when someone has to arrange for legal representation. I chose Walter Reaves because of my interaction with Brittany Bell. She was knowledgeable and very friendly. She was up front and direct with their cost and there were no surprises. They acted quick and effective and kept me up to date on my case. They were so welcoming and personable. I worked directly with Brinda Guerra and she was amazing. She was always available when I had questions and got back to me same day. I would 100% recommend this firm to anyone seeking a criminal defense lawyer. I truly had a 5 star experience.

Having to get out of difficult situations it's hard when you're on your own but the law office of Walter Reaves help me get through my legal problems and it has been a great experience working with them. I live in a rural area outside of Walter's. I kept getting tossed back and forth between civil and criminal lawyers. I had no idea if I should go up, down, left, or right. Instead of just ending the call, they helped direct me in the right direction, and gave me a small bit of info to help me get the lawyer I needed.
