This practice has completely went down hill from where it was just a year ago and it's very unfortunate. Attorney Dooley was someone I once recommended however after dealing with one of his associates I would say you are better off spending your money with a different practice. Through out the wasted month, I never had 1 phone conversation with an attorney, paralegal, or clerk about my "case"- not even during the intake process. I called multiple times to find out if they thought they could assist with my matter, what was the plan or process.... anything about the case with promises that they could and would be able to assist and that someone would be in contact with me. I finally received an email that was more vague than anything I researched on my own from an attorney providing my intake statement and "case analysis" that ended with- this will conclude my representation of you. I was able to get more useful (and a faster) response from Google, TikTok, and AI than dealing with them. -------------------- Response to owner. I really hope potential clients and ARAG review your response and fully understand the undertone of your message. Legal insurance is a paid service- so the implication that because I used legal insurance to hire you (not a consultation) there is a chance the service will only be subpar (which is ludicrous and again telling of where this practice is headed). In a season and career where your ethics and people skills are the only thing that set you apart- Corky Smith and his team should do better. I will also ensure that I share your response with ARAG so they are aware being an ARAG client impacts the way you interact with you as a person.

Words cannot express my gratitude to Dooley Noted Law, and especially Attorney Ornelas, and administrative assistants Catherine Dooley and Ellen Ward. I do not wish to go into the specifics of the case, but only note that the law office competently handled my case involving a consumer protection issue. Importantly, my approach was to strike the middle path and find an amicable resolution. The law office helped in that regard, and helped find a good resolution. I had found the law office through the ARAG Legal insurance that I get from my work, and had selected them based on the reviews I saw. The initial (free) 15 minute consultation was helpful, and Attorney Ornelas sketched an approximate path of how things could evolve and what our steps would be. I will say that we were very stressed out about the whole affair, and felt perhaps more frequent updates would help. (This was our first experience in such matters.) In retrospect, however, I feel that the nature of these cases are such that frequent updates may not be possible. (Perhaps for future clients, the Law Office may wish to make this point explicit, so that folks in a situation similar to us are reassured that the legal-wheels are moving.) All is well that ends well, and I am very grateful that Dooley Noted Law helped find a resolution for us.
