A harrowing experience that left justice unserved and was not in the best protective interest of a child's well-being. The initial consultation seemed to go well as if this group was going to really advocate for our child who was taken and relocated by his dad unbeknownst to mom. While the element of empathy was always present with this firm, it seems it was directly correlated to the continuous funding. After a whopping $20K was run dry in a matter of a month; and, extremely disastrous and disappointing court results, and having our asses handed to us due to an embarrasingly pathetic defense strategy, we were ghosted and served papers, by the firm, to pay an additional $4K "balance", in addition to informing us of their withdrawal from our case. The audacity of them, after getting the absolute worst and minimal temporary custodial orders for mom of said child. The dad and his attorney got away with the harshest orders that could be imposed on mom. After $20K and blood, sweat, tears, energy, time and only 2 court visits; mom is left seeing her son for a mere 2 hours on 1st, 3rd, and 5th weekend. No holidays. 2 FaceTime calls a week. Mom drives over 2 hours, one way, to see her son 2-3 times a month for the 2 hours allotted with SUPERVISED visitation. Mom is also being requested to pay child support, insurance, and take various drug tests, even after passing all initial testing. Again, the defense team we had lacked complete presence or any amount of fight on our behalf. How is this just? Our family has been so torn apart and the kids have paid greatly emotionally. I'm not sure how this firm sleeps at night, other than very well with the money they collect. We believed that they were advocating for mom and child, but it was the farthest from what we have been left with. I would consider doing due diligence and research extensively for their successful cases before plunking down continuous retainers. This was absolutely a heartbreaking and sad experience, not to mention financially draining. So many costly demands that were put on us by the other party, and the absurdities that we were dealt were in no way justified after spending most of our savings to have son back home with mom, sister, family and friends. To prospective clients, take heed. Proceed with great caution.
