I was referred to Reaves and Lee by a friend who had recently gone through bankruptcy with them and said the process was easy. I reached out and had an initial consultation with Mr. Ramirez, who very graciously took the time to listen to what I thought was a complex situation involving personal and small business debt that we wanted to discharge. He assured me that I qualified for my desired chapter, and I left our conversation feeling so much lighter than I had before I called. The following days proved to find more detailed info on our end, realizing we had a property attached to us that we felt further complicated things. It did, but it was no large feat for Reaves and Lee. I asked to speak with Mr. Ramirez again, giving him further details on my scenario. He told me that he would talk with another attorney at the firm to make sure he was giving me the best advice and would call me back. A day and a half later, I spoke with Mr. Lee himself. He was so attentive and had so many strategies and scenarios to play out about our outcomes, I was truly impressed with his knowledge. I left our conversation knowing with 100% certainty that I had interviewed my last attorney. Mr. Lee gave me all the confidence in the world that he would be able to not only handle our situation, but handle it with ease and experience. I truly feel as though I am in the most capable hands I could be in. Let me be perfectly clear, I have called other attorneys and have been hung up on, no calls returned, blown off, told that there was no way I would qualify for a chapter 7 and would have no option but to file a 13 instead, that I would have to liquidate this property to make the debt disappear. They have truly taken the time to understand what we are facing and strategize with us about what we can do moving forward to achieve our goals and freedom from our burden that the twists of life put us in.
