Place Law Office

I HIRED THIS GUY TO HELP ME WITH MY FAMILY MEMBERS AND SEND HIM PAYMENTS A FEWCTIMES . HE NEVER HELP ME WTCTHE PROBLEM. IN FACT I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN HE JUST TOOK MY MONEY

If this review is still up, then we are still in probate. My father's probate was assigned in February 2022. While we have been able to schedule meetings with Mr Place, he and the legal aid Janice have been very reassuring. Though they sympathize with the unforeseeable hardships our simple probate case is having, Mr place apparently forgot who we were by the 2nd meeting (thinking we were probating my mother's death instead of my father's.) As of now I've not received any further status of probate, life insurance, or updated debts from lacking returned emails. If given another chance, I would go with an attorney who had never done a probate case. I'm writing this review with hopes they will renew the Letters of Testamentary with the appropriate names of the executors and do more than wait on a call back from the life insurance that won't honor the claim. Without appropriate names, my hands are tied as an executor since that legal document is what gives the power of estate.

Allen has helped us many times over the years. We have always had the best outcome possible( even when there was very little hope for a decent outcome!). He is upfront and straightforward; he doesn't sugarcoat it. I would highly recommend this law office.

I would not recommend. Their profile says quick service. However, I was advised by the assistant to bring in some paper work I wanted changed because he was working on another case and that he would get back with me. They've had the paper work for well over 2 months and I've called multiple times and STILL haven't heard back from him!! Then when I call, the assistant has no answers for me. I'm getting my paperwork and headed somewhere else. Luckily it wasn't an emergency and needed done right off. Will not recommend to anyone.

At this point I still haven't met Alan or Tonya Place. I've been dealing with the secretary there. They won't let me know what's going on and I've been calling them to find out about my court date. I'm tired of calling them - they should be calling me or at least sending something by mail. I'm supposed to go to court today but of course haven't heard anything. But they are were quick to bill me twice for the filing fee, after I had paid it.
